Jeff and Judy Goodwin have been working in porcelain since 1997. They use the nerikomi technique of slicing cross-sections from carefully constructed porcelain clay loaves. Each piece is then shaped, smoothed then fired. It is finished with a 24k gold edging, which is fired permanently into the glaze after a third and final fire. Their work is elegant and lightweight, making them very wearable. The Goodwins make their home in Arkansas.
